Lufthansa Unveils New A380 Business Class Cabins

Lufthansa has announced a significant upgrade to its long-haul premium experience with the introduction of new Business Class cabins aboard its Airbus A380 fleet.
The new cabin will feature Business Class seats supplied by Thompson Aero Seating, with every seat offering direct aisle access – a key improvement for uninterrupted rest on long-haul flights. Seat width will measure 58 cm, while bed length extends to at least two metres, allowing for a fully flat and genuinely sleep-friendly position.
Additional features include Bluetooth connectivity and flexible privacy partitions, enabling passengers to adjust their personal space depending on whether they prioritise seclusion or interaction.
The first aircraft to be retrofitted will enter modification in February 2026 and is expected to return to service by April 2026. Lufthansa plans to reconfigure all eight of its A380s by mid-2027.
For travellers focused on sleep, recovery and comfort at altitude, Lufthansa’s new A380 Business Class represents a meaningful step forward.
