SWISS to open new lounges in Zurich in 2027

SWISS will open new Business and Senator Lounges at Zurich Airport in the first quarter of 2027, offering around 20 percent more space than the airline’s existing lounges.

Located in a newly constructed building on the southern side of Dock B, the two lounges will cover a combined 2600 square metres, with each occupying an entire floor.

Both lounges will feature additional seating, dedicated areas for working and relaxing and around 20 soundproofed workstations in total. A fully glazed window front will provide panoramic views across the apron and runways towards the Alps.

The new Senator Lounge will also feature a bar positioned directly along the window front, offering 180-degree views of Runway 34, the apron and the mountains.

Once the new facilities open, the existing SWISS Business and Senator Lounges as well as the SWISS Alpine Lounge at Dock A will close.

SWISS also expects to relocate its First and HON Circle Lounge from Dock A to Dock B in 2028 as Zurich Airport’s wider modernisation programme progresses.
