Qantas introduces a new inflight concept: the Wellbeing Zone

With the arrival of its Airbus A350 fleet, Qantas is set to introduce a dedicated Wellbeing Zone, designed to encourage movement, stretching and hydration on some of the world’s longest routes.
Planned for launch in 2027 on non-stop flights connecting Sydney with London and New York, the space will be accessible to passengers across all cabins and located between Premium Economy and Economy.
The Wellbeing Zone will include self-serve refreshments, guided movement content on integrated screens, and sculpted surfaces with built-in supports for stretching.
The concept forms part of Project Sunrise, Qantas’ ultra long-haul programme. Operated by specially configured Airbus A350-1000 aircraft, the flights are expected to last up to 20 hours and will feature a lower passenger count than typical A350 layouts. The aircraft will also incorporate lighting designed to support circadian rhythms and a higher proportion of premium seating across four cabin classes.
