From Runway to Runway: Missoni Elevates Delta One Experience

Delta and Missoni bring Italian design and hotel-level sleep to the skies, with new bedding, refreshed amenity kits launching in October, and more touches of luxury at 35,000 feet.
Delta is raising the bar on in-flight rest by expanding its partnership with Missoni, the iconic Italian fashion house, to deliver a new level of luxury, comfort, and design in its most premium cabin, Delta One.
With sleep consistently ranked as customers’ top priority, Delta has reimagined its onboard experience to bring hotel-quality rest to 35,000 feet. Delta One travelers can look forward to a new Missoni-designed bedding set, featuring a duvet and white sleeping pillow adorned with the brand’s subtle zigzag pattern and navy accents.
To make drifting off even easier, Delta is expanding its popular dual-use mattress pad—already a favorite on ultra-long-haul flights—to every Delta One journey. For flights over 12 hours, passengers can expect an additional indulgence: a memory foam cuddle pillow. Later this year, navy Missoni-branded slippers will also debut, adding a final touch of comfort.
A Fresh Take on Amenity Kits
In October, Delta will roll out refreshed Delta One amenity kits crafted with Missoni’s signature artistry. The kits are designed to reflect the colors of the sky, featuring Missoni’s signature textured zigzag pattern on the exterior. Together, Delta and Missoni created an exclusive design and color palette that pays homage to Delta’s 100-year flying heritage while drawing inspiration from the view at 35,000 feet.
Beyond Sleep: Delta’s Expanding Horizons
As Delta fine-tunes the art of sleep in the sky, it’s also broadening its global reach. Following its Route Race vote, the airline will add two Mediterranean escapes, launching new nonstop service from New York-JFK to Sardinia and Malta starting Summer 2026.
